After serving as a combat correspondent, Shawn Rhodes became an international expert in creating high-performing organizations.  He’s a Tampa-based TEDx speaker and his work studying teams in more than two dozen countries has been published in news outlets including TIME, CNN, NBC, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and INC. His clients have included Deloitte, ConAgra and Coca-Cola.

Rhodes is also a nationally-syndicated columnist with the Business Journals and author of the new book “Pivot Point: Turn On A Dime Without Sacrificing Results.”

Rhodes said, ”After serving from 2001-2005, I came back to this organization after almost 15 years away and have been forward-leaning to catch up. During my previous term as your vice president, I attempted to get a handle on how USMCCCA ran, who its leaders and members are, and what they need from THEIR association. During that time, we re-instituted regular leadership meetings and surveyed our leaders and active-duty Marines on what the future looked like for the Association. In the next year, it is my hope that we will continue to build a sustainable Association that honors our legacy while serving the needs of all members.  I will also actively campaign for our currently-serving CommStrat Marines to seek leadership positions in our Association and ensure their initiatives are given voice to shape our organization for the future.”
