Perkins Award presented

The Cpl. William T. Perkins Jr. Award, is presented to Cpl. Katelyn M. Hunter, machine gunner, Weapons Company, Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force, 2nd Marine Division (MARDIV) on Jan. 7, 2015 at Camp Lejeune, N.C. She earned this award for her imagery taken throughout the 2014 calendar year, while attached to the Consolidated Combat Camera Facility, Okinawa, Japan. The award commemorates the only combat photographer to have ever been awarded the Medal of Honor, which he received for his heroic efforts during the Vietnam War. (Photos by Lance Cpl.
