The Executive Director has received a very “good news” update regarding our Life Member and “Emcee Extraordinaire” Pat Coulter. In a telephone conversation Thursday with Jerie, she said he was napping at the time but that, while the road was very long, Pat was coming along beautifully. “He drives himself to speech therapy and is participating in Mass each week. He is walking six miles a day and, while his balance isn’t what it used to be, he is making great progress.”

Jerie said that his impatience in being able to speak clearly is what bothers him the most. When asked about the driving, Jerie indicated he had to re-take his driving test, both written and driving, but had no problems. “He does tire easily and does take an afternoon nap. When told our conference will be in Oceanside in September, Jerie said they definitely would try to make the Wednesday evening awards banquet.
