For 235 years a small but dedicated legion has stood in defense of our nation.  Whether under gray skies of bright sun, Marines have always stood and stood out as the best of our nation’s military.  Around the world, the title Marine is synonymous with courage and lethal efficiency in battle.  Thanks to the efforts of those who serve as Combat Correspondents and Combat Camera Marines, the American people have a real appreciation of the sacrifices made daily by Marines to protect our nation and the American way of life.  We are indeed, the few and the proud.  We are Marines!  Happy Birthday!
