Miltary reporter wanted at Virginian-Pilot

The Virginian-Pilot is seeking an energetic, enterprising reporter to cover the military in a region that includes the world’s largest naval base and a large community of veterans from all branches of the armed forces. This is a high-visibility job because covering the military is one of our most critical missions. There is heavy emphasis on watchdog journalism, but we’re also looking for someone who can take readers inside the military culture and produce vivid, compelling narratives.
