Michael Neumann’s wife, Susan passes
Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
It is with deep sadness that I am writing to tell you that Susan – my wife, best friend, and love – passed away last evening, 24 June, due to complications from surgery that she underwent earlier this week. –Michael
Many members may remember Capt. Michael Neumann’s service on the DivPA staff when CMC Gen. Krulak and then, BrigGen. Cliff Stanley led us to our Pentagon digs in 1997. His wife Susan was a cherished friend and supporter of the Corps and a military historian in her own right.
- Visitation: Thursday, 30 June from 6-8pm at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA
- Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, 1 July at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1427 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA
- Interment: Saturday, 2 July at 12 noon at Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg, PA (just SE of town on PA Hwy 16)
