Lejeune pronounced “Lejern”… more discussion on YouTube

CC Life Member Pat Brent, the Corps’  “foremost authority” on the pronunciation of Camp Lejeune (Lejern), checked in from Hawaii this week by telephone.  In addition to wanting an update on how the conference went at Hampton he wanted to showcase a piece on YouTube featuring the last surviving daughter of the famous General John Archer Lejeune.  You can see the bit above or by going to the following link:

If you attended the conference you will remember that Board Member Vickie Turney bid on and won a week’s vacation at one of Pat’s hotels near Waikiki Beach.  Her bid helped make our silent auction a great success.
