Journal Praise from the Wife of a Demon

CCHQ received one of the best plaudits yet for the 2013 Journal, Sunday night.  Bernice Stavisky, wife of the late Sam Stavisky, called raving about the suburb Journal she had received.  As Bernice always has said, she conducts nightly “talks” with Sam and she is sure he would love to read about his beloved CCs.  Members and others would know that Sam was the 14th “Denig” enlisted and went on to become one of the most prolific of World War II correspondents.  Our Merit Award for best combat reporting is in his name. Sgt. Reece Lodder, who won it last year, can stand even taller.
