Dr. Michael McClung visits with Marine Corps public affairs officers, (left to right) Capt. Gregory Wolf, Maj. Al Eskalis and Capt. Eric Flanagan, in the Maj. Megan McClung Conference Room located in the Headquarters Marine Corps Division of Public Affairs Office at the Pentagon. The conference room was dedicated to Maj. McClung after her Humvee struck a massive improvised explosive device, instantly killing her and two U.S. Army soldiers in Iraq, Dec. 6, 2006. McClung served as the public affairs officer for the Army’s 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division. Michael and his wife, Dr. Re McClung, have been devoted to carry on their daughter’s legacy, which revolved around the three things she lived by: mind, body and spirit. (File Photo)
