“So Dad [Don Knight] and I met the [Red} Sox Ambassador outside a special gate and received wristbands allowing us access to all corners of the park. It was just the three of us for the next 90 minutes as we were allowed onto the field for batting practice and inside the famous Green Monster in left field.

We walked the warning track and got to visit the Monster seats and the right field roof area. Then it was onto the Royal Rooters Club (for season ticket holders) and the Red Sox Hall Of Fame amongst other areas closed to the public. The ambassador was knowledgeable and friendly and my Father and I had a fantastic time. We never did see the scoreboard message but its possible we missed it. Hard to remember to keep watching it between innings. In the middle of the game, the Fenway Ambassador visited us in our seats and presented us with Red Sox gift bags.” – David Knight
