The author, Col. Jeremy M. Martin, commandant of the U.S. Defense Information School, has been a particularly robust supporter of the USMCCCA, including its Executive Director.  He has also pointed out on more than one occasion that CC John Dodd is “the workhorse of the Public Affairs Course for International Students.”

Noting that Dodd is the 2013 Public Affairs Leadership Department Instructor of the Year, the DINFOS Commandant has called him “an absolute beacon for this special student population … a perfect example of what honor and a solid work ethic are all about.”
