Denig Dedication & Luncheon

If you are planning to attend the no-host luncheon at the Globe and Laurel Restaurant following the Denig Memorial Dedication at the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Saturday, November 17 and have not yet contacted CCHQ, please do so before 1600 Friday, November 9.  We are committed to giving the restaurant an accurate count one week prior to the event.  The dedication ceremonies will begin in the Semper Fidelis Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 17.  Mrs. Bernice Stavisky and Mrs. Maria O’Leary, the surviving wives of two of the original “Demons” will join Director of Public Affairs, Brig. Gen. Paul A. Kennedy and CC President Bill Hauptfleisch in unveiling this memorial to our founder.  Also expected to attend is the granddaughter of Brig. Gen. Denig, Mrs. Alston Johnson of Richmond, VA.  Active duty personnel attending are requested to be in Service “A” or appropriate civilian attire.
