CommStrat, MCRC, USMCCCA preps for Atlanta

Col. Riccoh Player, Deputy Director of Marine Corps Communication, hosted USMCCCA reps Fred Lash (Foundation Vice-President) and Keith Oliver (Association President) in the Megan McClung Conference Room on Dec. 3 to discuss our tri-gathering in Atlanta set for August 19-23. The Pentagon session included key OccField staff as well as the marketing and communication leadership of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command,  who called in from Quantico.

The goal this year, Oliver reported, is to use the confab as a multi-purpose event with breakout sessions among the three entities, highlighted by the Annual Visual Information and Excellence in Communication (VIEC) Awards Banquet and other mentoring and networking opportunities, both formal and informal.
