CC artist, Chuck Beveridge wants to return to Iwo Jima, 65 years later

Friends of Chuck Beveridge have organized a fundraising effort to help send Chuck back to Iwo Jima.

CC Chuck Beveridge was wounded on the beaches of Iwo Jima, 65 years ago, and now, his friends are collecting donations to help send him back.

The last time Chuck traveled to Iwo Jima, the U. S. Marine Corps paid his way. He was well equipped for the trip with weapons, rations, etc. Chuck was with the 3rd wave when he first landed on Iwo.

And now, sixty-five years later Chuck wants to return to Iwo Jima to honor his fallen comrades and to revisit the place where his Marine brothers made such a huge sacrifice for their country. However, this time the Marines won’t be paying for the trip, so Chuck’s friends are working to help raise the $7,000 or so it will cost him to go.
