CC Caleb Eames selected to mentor at the United States Senate Youth Program

Fellow CC, lstLt Caleb Eames, PAO Albany, has been selected as one of 15 Department of Defense military mentors for the 47th Annual United States Senate Youth Program held in Washington, D.C., March 7 – 14, 2009.

Established in 1962 by U.S. Senate Resolution, it is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service. Eames and his fellow selectees will serve as counselors, facilitators and ambassadors of the military services.

“It is a honor to be chosen to serve in this respect, to rub shoulders with the best of our Nation’s youth and the nation’s top decision makers,” said Eames. “I truly feel blessed to share my patriotism and Marine Corps’ motivation with these young adults, who hold our nation’s future in their hands.”
