Capt. John Dodd, USMC (ret), a USMCCCA stalwart serving on the faculty at Defense Information School, was named the Public Affairs Leadership Department’s Instructor of the Year last week. Department Chair Keith Oliver noted the “unprecedented, near unanimous consensus” among John’s peers and called him “a workhorse … who typically shuns the spotlight in favor of the myriad, unsung acts he performs for others.” The student favorite and his wife, Dale, were recently honored by our Association’s Immediate Past President Don O’Neal for their service as national co-treasurers.
