Nominations deadline looms

Published by Jason Fudge on

The deadline for sending in nominations for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors is May 15. Nominations Chair Chris Whiting will accept names of nominees until that date.
All officer positions are up for reelection and nominations may be made for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The incumbent Secretary and Treasurer will not be seeking reelection. Officers serve one-year terms and an active duty member may not serve as President.
Directors serve two-year terms and two seats are up for reelection this year.
Nominees must be members of the USMCCCA in good standing (Life Members or Annual Members whose dues are paid). If elected, the Board Member must be able to attend monthly Zoom meetings and be present at the Annual Symposium. Board Members will also be asked to serve on various committees.
Whiting said she would like to see a mix of active duty and former/retired Marines run for election. She would also like to have enough nominees for an actual election this year.
To nominate someone or yourself for office, contact Whiting at Nominations@USMCCCA.org.
