Cy O’Brien invited to cut the cake at the CMC Birthday Ball

Cyril O'Brien, USMC (ret.) is recognized during the Welcome Reception at the 2009 Annual USMCCCA Conference in Hampton, Va.

Captain Cyril O’Brien, USMC (Ret), has been invited by General James T. Conway, Commandant of the Marine Corps, to attend his Washington, D.C.  Birthday Ball on Nov. 14, 2009 as a special guest.

The Commandant wrote, “As the oldest Marine present, you are also invited to take part in the traditional cake-cutting ceremony.
